Hamid Fayyaz

Hamid Fayyaz brings over 30 years of international ICT leadership to his role as Director of Business Development (MEA) at PLC Group. He drives PLC’s regional growth strategy for Remote Monitoring Systems (RMS), Al-driven Actionable Intelligence, and Energy-efficient network solutions, enabling telecom operators and TowerCos to optimize performance, reduce OPEX, and achieve
sustainability goals.

During a distinguished career at Ericsson, Hamid led major network rollouts, turnkey projects, and managed services operations across more than 20 countries in the Middle East and Africa. His leadership was instrumental in several landmark programs – from Pakistan’s greenfield Warid Telecom launch to multi-vendor modernization initiatives across the GCC and North Africa —demonstrating his unique ability to bridge technology and execution.

Before joining PLC Group, Hamid served as Executive Director at Nexign, overseeing digital BSS and IoT transformation programs, and as Regional Head at UCOM4B, driving Unified Communications and Cloud deployments across Africa and Asia.

An Electrical Engineer with an Executive MBA, Hamid is also an MIT Sloan alumnus in Digital Transformation and IoT Strategy. Known for his strategic foresight and people-centric leadership, he excels in building high-performance teams, forging long-term partnerships, and translating innovation into measurable business outcomes.

At PLC Group, Hamid continues to expand the company’s footprint across MEA and beyond, positioning it at the forefront of intelligent, data-driven telecom and energy transformation.
