Dave Smargon

Dave Smargon serves as the Chief Operations Officer at PLC Group, bringing over 25 years of extensive experience in the global telecom industry. With a strong academic background in Electrical and Computer Engineering (B.S.) and RF & Microwave Engineering (M.S.), Dave has held numerous technical leadership roles, delivering high-quality, value-driven solutions and services to telecom network owners and operators across North America and beyond.

Since joining PLC Group in April 2023, Dave has been instrumental in driving operational excellence and transformation across the organization. Under his leadership, PLC established a global 24x7x365 Technical Assistance Center, ensuring continuous support and responsiveness to customer needs. He has also overseen the creation and implementation of over 300 operational and customer-facing process documents, setting new standards for quality and consistency.

Guided by his focus on efficiency, quality, and customer-centricity, Dave continues to lead PLC Group’s evolution toward becoming a globally recognized, ISO-certified technology company — one that is agile, self-correcting, and relentlessly focused on delivering value at every level of operation.
